We have a vacancy for a Multi Skilled Engineer working for an inclusive employer with strong training and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team and to provide skilled maintenance and machinery repair support around their premises.
Main Duties
Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct mannerMaintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purposeEnsuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basisContinually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safetyAssisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriateCompleting daily maintenance check sheets and job cards
The person specification
A BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualificationAn appropriate post-apprenticeship in food manufacturing or work experience in a food manufacturing environment would be beneficialHaving completed 18th Edition training would be an advantageExcellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail, commitment, and the ability to accept responsibility are key in this role.Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values

Shifts:
Week 1 - Monday – Friday – 5am to 1.30pm
Week 2 - (1 wk day off)– Monday to Saturday – 7.30am to 4pm
Week 3 – Monday to Friday – 2.30pm to 11pm
