Role Purpose

To effectively carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance of the plant, ensuring that all equipment is maintained correctively and in a timely manner in order for manufacturing to operate efficiently.

Multi Skilled Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Efficient diagnosis and correction of electrical and mechanical faults.
Installation and commissioning of all new and repaired machinery and equipment
Assist manufacturing with machinery adjustments, changeovers and set up.
Machine performance improvements and reduction of downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Take an active role in Health and Safety requirements on site.
Be able to work unsupervised when tasked to do so, and to organise the work of others, where relevant, in response to the site needs
Manage and support the activities of all engineering contractors when they are on site.
Conducting of planned predictive maintenance on machinery.

Multi Skilled Engineer

The Person:

Level 3 NVQ Electrical/ Mechanical Qualification
Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry.
Experience of FMCG operations, desirable
Welding Experience (Not Essential)
PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
Health and Safety driven.
Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.
