SalaryDue to continued growth, a successful manufacturer of luxury homewares sold globally is seeking an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Reporting into the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical repairs and maintenance of machinery including automated assembly, injection moulding machines, powder coating lines, conveyors, and hydraulic presses.
***Day shift Monday to Friday, £35000-£40000***
As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance of all electrical equipment on site including services, distribution, plant machinery and miscellaneous equipment.
- Electrical installation of new machinery, equipment, and services ensuring compliance with the relevant current legislation.
- Monitoring the condition of services and machinery reporting defects to the Facilities Manager.
- Identifying potential issues and advise on corrective course of measures.
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:
- Have worked in a manufacturing / production environment as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar.
- Be experienced with electrical maintenance, with some basic mechanical ability.
- Be apprentice trained or equivalent, hold at least NVQ level 3 qualification in electrical maintenance or installation.
- Have good fault-finding skills.

On offer:
A salary of £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience, 4% pension contributions, Life Assurance, subsidised canteen, discounted gym membership, and more.
40 hours per week - 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
