Multi skilled Engineer hours: 4 on, 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights

Due to their ambitious growth plans, there is a new role available in the Maintenance team as a Multi skilled Engineer to support the Company on their journey to becoming a world class food manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Multi skilled Engineer will:

• Carry out ongoing repairs and maintenance across site
• Ensure Engineering Work Requests are completed to agreed timescales and carry out planned work during none ‘Breakdown’ situations
• Maintain strong lines of communication between the engineering and manufacturing teams
• Ensure effective handovers between shifts and a full detailed shift log is completed and sent out
• To ensure the highest standards of health & safety, food safety and other manufacturing practices are being achieved and maintained by yourself
• Understand downtime issues & targets
• Work with the senior improvements engineer to carry out line improvements
• Participate in CI activities on shift

As the Multi skilled Engineer, you will:

• Be a multiskilled electrically biased time served engineer – HNC level or above
• Be computer literate with a knowledge of CMMS systems
• Have sound knowledge of workplace health and safety
• Have FMCG experience (preferable in the food industry)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
