- Join a renowned confectionery company in the heart of the Manufacturing & Production (FMCG) sector in Pontefract
- Work on a 3-shift pattern (no weekends) with 33 days of annual leave, and overtime available paid at x1.5 and x2 for Sundays
- Utilise your multi-skilled engineering expertise to maintain and enhance our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance activities, including inspection, testing, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve equipment or machinery issues promptly.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimum operational functionality and minimum downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and address maintenance requirements in a timely manner.
- Participate in the planning and execution of equipment modifications, upgrades, or installations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of equipment parts and supplies.
Adhere to relevant safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise as an electrical engineer to troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical systems
- HND or HNC qualification or time served in engineering or a related field
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Proven track record of delivering effective solutions to maintenance challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certifications in multi-skilled or electrical engineering
- Additional qualifications in mechanical engineering or related disciplines
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
