Due to continued growth, my Wirral based client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our busy manufacturing site.
The successful applicant will report into the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance across site.
The Role
- Working with a small team of engineers
- Experience working in a similar position
- Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work; including breakdowns and planned maintenance to the production line machinery
- The ability to Fault Find on automated machinery.
- Drive and initiate continuous improvement across the factory to enhance quality, efficiency, performance, safety and waste reduction
- Great time management skills
- HNC or similar in a mechanical discipline
- A can-do attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible and work under their own initiative
- Awareness of theirs and other health and safety
