Job title: Temporary Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (6 months)
Location: Moreton, Wirral, Merseyside, CH46 1PR
Hours of work: 3 rotation pattern:
4 on (2 days / 2 nights) - 4 off
4 on (2 days / 2 nights) - 4 off
4 on (2 days / 2 nights) - 10 off
During summer months 18 days off – shift pattern has no additional holidays.
In addition to the above hours 6 additional rostered days (Saturday or Sunday) are built into the calendar year to support weekend maintenance.
Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum.

As our new multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll
- Be working alongside your fellow Maintenance Engineers and using your skills and experience to improve the plant capability and efficiency.
- Be involved in projects as required.
- Attend appropriate training courses to keep up to date with technological advances.
- Assist with the training of apprentices and other relevant personnel.
Do you offer?
- A formal engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level, NVQ level 3 in an electrical and mechanical discipline.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience of generic engineering equipment such as Rockwell, Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience of computerised maintenance management system, such as SAP.
- Experience of continuous improvement techniques and carrying out improvements focused on maximising engineering reliability.
