Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - FMCG

Salary: GBP42,000 - GBP 52,000+ Overtime

Location: Kempston, Bedford, Biggleswade

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a large and well established FMCG company at their Hi-Tech, fully automated site in Bedfordshire. Our client has been established for over 75 years and this site is the UK arm of a multi-national business which are a global provider of FMCG products. The company are currently investing heavily into the site and are focusing heavily on making the site a world class manufacturing facility so currently have a number of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects which the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have the opportunity to get involved in. Our client also looks at training and development for all of their engineers so the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be sent on courses covering PLC's, Hydraulics, invertors, drives etc

Skills required for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Multi-Skilled with an electrical bias
• Engineering qualification- Ideally Electrically qualified
• Open to the background- factory environment, ex forces, recycling, brick etc
• Able to electrically fault-find using an electrical diagram
• Must have full rights to work in the UK
• Must be happy to work on 60% mechanical faults
• Must be happy to work a days and nights shift rotating
