Join Maintenance as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer at one of our six world class manufacturing sites to play a crucial role in delivering our portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients addressing a wide population of patients. You will be responsible for planned and preventative maintenance work that enables the safety, productivity and efficiency of the plant and broader facilities.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
- You will conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant and site to ensure we produce, develop and manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients for our customers.
- Provide vital support to the Haverhill site for both reactive and pro-active maintenance.
- Provide specialist maintenance support.
- Perform maintenance activities on a range of assets from specialist manufacturing equipment through to vital plant utilities.
- Uphold the highest standards related to GMP, safety, quality, and validation protocols.
- Ensure adherence to daily safe-systems-of-work such as permit-to-work, safe-plan-of-action & LOTO.
- Support the development of knowledge across the team and promote new ways to work.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements
Apprenticeship trained with a level 3 and above qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC.
Excellent written and spoken English skills - you will be working with external and internal stakeholders and working in a regulated industry.
Shift Working - you will work a shift pattern of 06:00-14:15pm or 13:45-22:00 with weekend cover on standby on rotation.
Hazardous area training and experience would be preferred.
