Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

Up to £42k Inclusive of shift allowance
A large Automotive Manufacturing company with multiple international operations are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their Assembly Team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery.
The Role and Responsibilities
• Provide immediate support in the event of breakdowns.
• Proactively work to reduce machine downtime.
• Servicing, maintenance, and improvement of electrical & mechanical equipment & services in accordance with current regulations
• Experience of maintaining and interrogating PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Fanuc currently used on site)
• Experience of maintaining and interrogating Drive systems (Mitsubishi, ABB & Reliance currently used on site)
Knowledge and Experience
· Experience in a maintenance role within a busy manufacturing company ideally Automotive
· Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers
· Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment, and quality management system
· Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
· HNC/NVQ Level 3 Qualification in an engineering discipline
