SalaryHere at SRS we have an excellent opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Technician based in the Newcastle area.
You will be working as part of a team for a large manufacturing facility.
Permanent Role- Working Monday to Thursday 07:00am-15:45pm & Friday 07:00am – 11:30am
Duties include;
- Provide supprt to shift electrical technicians and Control Engineers.
- Maintain Plant Equipment.
- Carry out works order requests.
- Perform work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes and standards.
- Communicate and report engineering issues and resolutions.
- Write detailed account of shift issues and communicate to oncoming shifts.
- Attend maintenance meetings when required.
- Inverter control – changing out, set up.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Carry out plant maintenance activities.
- Identifying electrical problems and repairing them.
- Support maintenance daily excellence – RCFA, quick kaizen problem solving.
Candidate criteria(desirable not essential)
- Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Gas Training
- C&G 2391 (Inspect & Test)
- IPAF Certificate
- 17th Edition
- Experience of Allan Bradley equipment
- PLC knowledge
