Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £45,000 – £57,000 inc shift premium, dependent on shift pattern (min basic pay of £36,060)
What you’ll be doing:
· Site maintenance and installation activities
· Minor/major repairs
· Breakdown response and diagnostics to resolve manufacturing equipment issues
· Support to contractors during technical works
· Attendance at site operational meetings as required
· Execution of work orders from the site CMMS
· Update of work order details to maintain the asset database for the site on all works performed
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
· Time served Electrical apprenticeship preferably with HNC/HND qualification
· 17th/18th edition Wiring Regulation qualification
· Manufacturing industry experience working to time pressure and performance metrics
Desirable:
· Safety Qualifications (e.g. IOSH, working at height, MEWP licence)
· Knowledge and working experience with PLC/CNC machinery

Our Maintenance Team:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will carry out a varied range of electrical activities that protect the Washington site and ensure capability for manufacturing teams to perform their duties. This will include planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response/repairs and work requests.
