Purpose of Role:
To support the Dry Goods and Packaging Team Leader in the management, control and storage of business dry goods and packaging to ensure the delivery of quality, cost and service optimisation to the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the team in delivering regular stock checks.
- Conduct month end stock checks.
- Adhere to customer quality specifications and guidelines whilst carrying out tasks.
- Ensure the execution of any order against correct information and quality standards.
- Develop technical attributes geared to the smooth operation of any equipment.
- Assist in other Operational areas when required.
- Carry out tasks effectively and efficiently as part of a close-knit team.
- Always ensure conformance to H&S.
The successful applicant will be expected to display the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in the production environment of a medium to large manufacturing organisation.
- Able to cope with the demands of high levels of flexibility and short lead times whilst maintaining conformance to specifications.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, used to quality focused operations.
- A flexible attitude to work and an appetite for personal development.
