Multi Skilled Operator

Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we are recruiting for a multi-Skilled Operator for our client based in the Newcastle area.

Due to company growth they are looking to add to their team. You will be required to perform several manufacturing process, package parts and shipping along with performing general factory duties;

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 07:00pm-15:00pm & Friday 07:00am-12:30pm

Duties include;

•Grit blasting
•Glass bead blasting
•Foundry processes using molten metal to cast products, spin casting
•TIG Welding
•Soldering using oxy-acetylene torch
•Filing metal parts, de-burring, cleaning and polishing parts
•Loading parts and running EDM wire machine
•Performing basic turning operations
•Cleaning and packaging of parts for shipping
•Creating delivery notes using our ERP system
•Etching part numbers using laser marking machine
•Accept deliveries
•General factory duties and housekeeping

Training will be provided in all aspect of the role. There is potential to develop this role in the future for the right candidate.

This role would suit someone with a positive attitude to learning and development. It is essential that you are flexible and able to adapt to new requirements within a small team. Dexterity is essential in this role and you must be comfortable and able to use your hands to carefully control tools, files, abrasives, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
