About the role:
In this role, you'll be part of a team responsible for essential repairs and maintenance across the university estate, working closely with the Principal Building Fabric Manager to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance. Your tasks will encompass plumbing, joinery, locksmith duties, and other building fabric repairs.
You'll work alongside a diverse team to support the university's core functions of teaching, learning, research, and commercial ventures with minimal disruption to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll also play a crucial role in the Estates Operations out-of-hours service, responding to emergency callouts, which may involve additional salary compensation.
We're currently implementing a Customer Service Excellence (CSE) program aimed at enhancing our customer service. We're looking for candidates willing to support ongoing monitoring and improvement of our business processes, contributing to a strong team-focused culture.
