Multi Trade Operative


Hull – covering Hull and the surrounding areas


£33,702 - £35,476 per year


40 hours per week


We have an opportunity for several skilled Multi-Trade Operatives to join our team based in Hull. Within the role you will be covering all aspects of general building repairs and maintenance, for both void and tenanted properties.


The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover Hull and the surrounding areas.


The role of Multi Trade Operative will include:

  • Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Skills and experiences:

  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS), currently undertaking the qualification or prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – Plumbing, Carpentry and Joinery
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise work loads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
