An amazing opportunity at a fantastic company! Our client are specialists in the packaging manufacturing industry, manufacturing products globally. Due to expansion, they are now looking for both an Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer and a Mechanically Bias Engineer to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Planned, preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Prioritise breakdowns
- Repair breakdowns in a safe manner
- Repair of company equipment & machinery
- Modifying existing equipment & machinery
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Report to Senior Maintenance Lead & Engineering Manager
- Always following company Health & Safety policies
- Wearing appropriate PPE when necessary
- Attend meetings, discussions & training when required
- Provide cover for other Engineering staff when necessary
Skills and experience required as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair
- Maintenance of Injection Moulding Machinery is preferable
- Maintenance of hydraulics & pneumatics is essential
- PLC fault finding (electrical role only)
- Health & Safety adherence
Qualifications:
Level 3 Engineering Qualification
