Reporting to our Senior National Account Manager, you will work closely with our National Account Managers, to support in building business relationships, managing key accounts, to help grow our portfolio of customers. This is an entry level sales position covering day to day basics of account management.
Duties include:
- Work closely with National Account Managers on key managed accounts.
- Demonstrate to key customer stakeholders the commercial and operational benefits realised through working with the company.
- To support the National Account Managers to grow revenue and margin in a portfolio of customers.
- Assist with large projects and events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with your customer contacts & complete key administration tasks.
- Manage customer online catalogues and EDI portals by adding and removing products.
- Support the supply chain team with processing orders.
- Support NAMs to deliver key projects including meeting administration (minutes/critical path updates).
- Successfully achieve individual and team targets and KPI's as devised by the business.
- Driving effective decision making through using all available information and resources to inform actions.
- Work closely with departments across the company including Supply Chain, Finance & Operations.
- Manage customer performance data and customer margin model tracking and insights.
- Sales reporting and analysis to identify opportunities and develop insights to drive growth.
- Complete timely and accurate management reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ownership and management of accurate EF master data.
- Ownership and management of accurate customer master data including customer online portal submissions.
- Manage customer relations including customer service calls with both customer head offices and retail stores.
- Demonstrate a thorough and proactive response to customer needs.
- A proven track record dealing successfully with customers in a sales environment.
- Analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong administration skills.
- Excellent computer literacy - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions.
- A confident team player.
