Job Title:National Housebuilder Manager

Purpose:
This is a senior role aimed at realising growth in a high potential business segment
As a senior leader you will develop and execute strategies to win new business with UK and Ireland National House Builders. As a key influencer you will drive a specification led approach, working closely with house builders, their architects, contractors and render applicators to add value and provide a differentiated service. You will work in close collaboration with organisational peers within Sales, Marketing and Product Management to ensure optimal outcomes in revenue and margin growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on ‘Customer Experience’ and develop a deep understanding of our value as a business partner.
- Focus on early-stage engagement, through collaborating with our customers at a specification level.
- Develop and negotiate supply chain agreements with target partners to facilitate business growth.
- Deliver a structured approach to managing strategic customer accounts.
- Bring a fact based, data led mindset to drive own performance and achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Identify key decision makers, build strong relationships, sell value, our service, and our expertise.
- Have the ability and confidence to make pragmatic decisions using knowledge, experience, and judgement.
- Prepare concise and data driven commercial reports to inform the business.
- Deliver impactful presentations to raise awareness of company products and service.
- Participate in market strategy by researching and identifying new areas to develop our product offerings.
- Have a clear understanding of current & future market trends, industry, and competitor developments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant construction and product legislation.
- Demonstrate resiliency and ambition to build and drive long term business success.
- Maintain collaborative working practices, developing good rapport and relationships with all internal stakeholders, particularly across the internal and external sales teams.

Essential
- Educated to graduate level or similar
- A proven track record of success with a minimum of three years in a senior specification / key account management type of sales role
- Experience of developing supply chain agreements with key stakeholders within the construction industry
- Experience of pro-active business development and especially specification led sales in a technical and commercial environment.
- Has an established relevant network and personal industry presence at senior level
- A strong influencer and exceptional negotiator
Desirable
- 3rd level qualification in a construction or business
- Previous working knowledge of render, plastering, mortars and EWI
- Able to read construction drawings and contribute to product design
- Experience in using Navision ERP / Dynamics 365 / Salesforce
