Field Sales Solutions has an exciting opportunity for you to join them as a National Training Manager for P&G!

In return for joining us as our P&G National Training Manager we can offer you a competitive salary of £35,000 - £37,500.00 (DOE)  + £6,000 Car Allowance 

What you will be doing as our P&G National Training Manager?

  • Working in collaboration with the Capability Manager and National Sales Managers across both GHS and PST to devise new training plans and strategies based on formal reviews..  To develop and implement the P&G/FSS induction programme across the field team to a standard to ensure all new starters have the relevant skills, knowledge and equipment to fulfil their new role to the highest quality. Implement the training plans in line with the P&G/FSS management team. Ensuring that all field employees are provided with the training and motivation to meet their personal development needs and which supports the accounts current and future business objectives. Whilst not delivering training courses, to work in the field 4 days a week training and coaching Regional Managers and new starters as required. The National Training Manager will be required to stay overnight up to 4 days a week to deliver training/coaching nationally. To evaluate and report on training performance, measuring the benefit of training provided and introducing measures/quantitative evaluation tools for the current processes to ensure continual improvement. To liaise and consult with the Talent Manager to ensure best practice is operated consistently throughout the account. To provide an advisory service to the field management team on all aspects of training. To assist the Group Capability Manager to set up and maintain training policies, procedures, manuals, library etc.

What will you need to become our P&G National Training Manager?

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in learning & development or field management, including a thorough understanding of the key dynamics required for managing and motivating large field teams, the design, delivery of training; training needs analysis, and evaluation methods. Ability to set appropriate and realistic goals and expectation to achieve plans.  Taking accountability for delivering results and raising quality standards. Sets priorities, establishes objectives, estimates time and schedules activities - uses all available tools to ensure deadline & targets are met within budget. Uses Initiative, is innovative and creative Gains job satisfaction from working in an environment which embraces the FSS/P&G company values. Have a track record of achievement. Can demonstrate flexibility and responds positively to change. This role requires an excellent coach and team player in the widest sense. Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential attributes as is a fundamental value of people. The key responsibility is to maximise performance by using appropriate style to inspire and guide team. Build effective relationships and gain commitment and respect. An extremely flexible approach to work is required combined with a creative and proactive outlook to generate new ideas in response to a fast-moving environment where tight deadlines must be met.  "Feast or Famine" the flow of the workload is almost entirely outside of the control of the account. The ability to deal with a number of projects at one time and prioritise accordingly whilst balancing successfully client needs vs. available resources (internal and external) within the pressures of the prevailing marketplace.
