NDT Field Service Technician

As a NDT Field Technician, you will provide support the NDT Diagnostic Department. Supporting other Field Service Technicians with the inspection of storage tanks and/or terminal piping systems.We are looking for an individual with a customer-oriented attitude, self-motivated, being able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Travel is an essential part of the role, therefore a flexible approach with travel and overnight stays is a must.
A successful candidate must be able to operate software systems as part of normal tasks, whist performing accurate computations. Handle supplied equipment accordingly. Demonstrate the ability to maintain cordial relationships with project managers, other team member, clients and contractors is a crucial part of the position. Ensure project deadlines are met and always conscious of quality guidelines.
Requirements
You must also have;- An education to HND level or higher (preferable in an engineering discipline);
- An interest with inspection and NDT activities (UT, MT, PT);
- Knowledge of computers and MS Office;
- Excellent English Communication
- Willingness to travel for various periods of time (in the UK, Europe and International), whilst demonstrating flexibility and to work overtime when required
- Experience with working in confined spaces;
- CSCS certification;
- Experience with Microsoft Visio;
- UK driving license (trailer would be an advantage);
- Living within driving distance from Newcastle (up to 1 hour);
- Proof of being able to work in the UK;
- Hold a valid passport to travel;
Providing a Certificate of Good Behavior (CRB Check) is a condition to work for us. ROSEN shall refund the costs associated with the application for the certificate.
