SalaryOur client is recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor based in Portsmouth. As the company oversee both construction and Property Maintenance contracts experience in at least one of these fields is essential.
As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will be part of the Health & Safety team and be involved in supporting the Operations and Property Services teams.
You ll help assure compliance with H&S legislation, company procedures and best practice is met across the business.
This role will involve investigation, advising and providing a higher level support to wider teams and customers.
Knowledge and skills
- As a minimum you ll need to have NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
- You ll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from a previous similar role which will enable you to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- You ll have a good background in either Property Maintenance or construction and experience of working in housing is desired but not essential.
- You will also need a full current driving licence with your own transport to be able to travel between sites around Hampshire
Due to the potential travel to a few sites your own transport will be required to fulfil this role.
The length of assignment is unknown at present but at least 3-6 month in length.

Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Salary
Full time role salary is £48,700
