Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the leadership of the logistics and transportation procurement team, being an important link in the supply chain. Direct maritime, air and land transportation tenders for the region. Additionally, creating the area strategy, creating strong relationships with stakeholders.

Your Impact

As Logistic and transportation negociator, your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Supports category strategy over a multi-year horizon and ensures delivery of AOP targets, price variance tracking, successful supplier interaction & negotiation
  • Supports contract execution, supplier coordination, competitive benchmarking and works with local business to solve any supply issues
  • Manages change projects that are required to deliver productivity targets or support market innovation
  • Executes local category strategies that create competitive advantage for the business
  • Supports  the development of local suppliers in terms of service, quality and productivity
  • Supports the Category Lead in the execution of local key productivity initiatives and also develops short term productivity
  • Supports the Category Lead in the execution of legal contracts for local suppliers
  • Contribute in achieve cost avoidance into import's transportation for foreign Raw Materials
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Economics, or International Business
  • English level: Intermediate
  • Experience managing suppliers, negotiations and projects analysis
  • RFP and RFI bidding excecution
  • Contracts management
  • Strategy creation
  • Cost comparison market / bechmark
  • Logistics knowledge (Transport, warehousing, international trade)
  • SAP and ARIBA platform management (desirable).
