Job description

We currently have an opportunity for a Neighbourhood Environment Operative to provide a full and comprehensive grounds maintenance and caretaking service across RBH Neighbourhoods.

As a NET team member you will carry out regular duties as specified on the rotas to meet the published service standards for our environmental green spaces including grass cutting, weeding, pruning, cutting shrubs, general tidying, gardening, Waste clearance, and any general maintenance duties. This role is fixed-Term for 1 year, occasional weekend/evening work could be required for which time of in lieu would be given.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a current UK full driving licence
  • Will be able to carry out regular cleaning, caretaking and grounds maintenance duties to the standards our members and tenants expect, within specified timescales with proper regard for health and safety legislation.
  • You will be expected to produce consistently high standards of work and record completed work. This role involves manual work, and you will be able to operate both manual and mechanised equipment in a safe manner.
  • You’ll be working on site in our neighbourhoods and will be positive, proactive and friendly in dealing face-to-face with our customers.
