As a Network Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will be: 

•           Interface between Fixed Networks, (the Customer Authority), and key stake holders, i.e. sites via  Customer Managers (CM’s), End System Owners (consumers of fixed networks connectivity), Suppliers e.g. Fujitsu, (FJ) and BT (British Telecom), and Top Level Budgets (TLBs).

•           Provide support to Senior Delivery Manager.

•           Identify and agree baseline scope of LAN rationalisation/decommission activity with site.

•           Support decommission implementation plans in-order-to realise savings against LAN portcharges.

•           Coordinate rationalisation/decommission activity in parallel to LAN tech refresh delivery.

•           Stakeholder engagement across multiple complex groups.

•           Support issue/blocker resolutions.

•           Proactively manage dependencies placed upon FN by suppliers.

•           Support design and implementation of effective governance structure to control rationalisation & decommission plans.

•           Support reporting to existing (wider) governance structures including weekly/monthly R2 returns.

•           Accountable for knowledge transfer to crown staff.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

An understanding of Digital Network fundamentals. Be highly proficient in MS office applications, particularly Excel. Recognised Project Management Qualification, Prince 2/ APMP etc   Experience of collaborative working including communicating with stakeholders Experience of prioritising and planning to meet delivery commitments within complex stakeholder groups. Security Cleared (or willingness to undergo clearance) Extensive MS Office experience Experience of working with external 3rd Party suppliers High Level of Stakeholder Management and communications skills.

Highly Desirable:

•           Previous experience of Local Area Network Technical Refresh projects/programs.
