Network Engineer – Dv Cleared – Contract

• Filton location – circa 3 days on site
• DV Clearance to start – must be active
• Up to £700p/d inside ir35 Initial 3 month Contact plus extension
• Expertise in Firewall Design, CISCO, NAC and NDR Solutions, Network Security Architecture  

What will you be doing?

Create a Firewall Design in accordance with the zonal security model and conceptual security architecture. Chart the flow of Network Traffic and formulate Firewall Rule sets. Design Network Access Control (NAC). Provide support in the design of Network Detection and Response (NDR) solution. Implement the deployment of Firewall and NDR solutions. Configure the forwarding of logs from network appliances to the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure sufficient logging, correlation, and creation of use cases.  

We need you to have

• Active UKSV DV clearance to start
• Be a sole UK National – in line with Government security policy

Experience:

• Proficiency in designing network security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CISCO firewalls.
• Proven track record in implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, with a preference for expertise in CISCO ISE.
• Expertise in the design, deployment, and administration of Network Detection and Response (NDR) tools.
• Familiarity with network security requirements and architectures in Operational Technology (OT) and manufacturing environments.
