Are you a skilled and experienced professional in Network Infrastructure seeking a new and exciting challenge? We have an opening for a Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on supporting and maintaining network infrastructure, contributing to the development of new technical solutions, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain network infrastructure on a day-to-day basis and contribute to planning, design, and development of new technical solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical support, assurance, and guidance in the designated area.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry, national, legislative, and compliance standards.
- Understand business requirements, analyze data, and recommend viable options.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure architecture, evaluating emerging technologies and proposing relevant initiatives.
- Align network with business requirements and digital strategy, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Conduct impact analysis and quality assurance of system modifications to support new solutions.
- Represent the organization effectively at various meetings and groups, building constructive partnerships.
- Substantial knowledge of Cisco, Avaya telephony, Azure, AWS, zScaler, SolarWinds, and sentinel gained through significant experience.
- Strong understanding of network Monitoring & Management, Supplier Management, SD Wan, VLAN Azure vWan, Static and Dynamic routing.
- Application of industry best practices with knowledge of ISO 20000 (Service Management) and ITSM.
- Experience in authoring Technical Design documents and Service artifacts.
- Proven experience supporting, building, and maintaining physical and virtual infrastructure in a large, complex organization.
- Focus on ICT technologies and operational service delivery.
- Subject matter expertise from inception through to delivery.
- Previous experience in a complex large organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate/mitigate risks.
- Effective communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
- People skills with great listening, empathy, insight, and intellect.
- Ability to guide others and influence change positively.
- Professionalism and influence on key issues within the organization.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
