Network Engineer/Network Architect (Cisco/Netgate/Fortinet)

Network Engineer/Network Architect(CISCO/Netgate/Fortinet) is urgently required by a Global and leading IT Services Provider in the defence sector, for an initial 4 months rolling contract, to be based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• The successful applicant will be an experienced Network Engineer
• Excellent client facing experience
• SME Knowledge and extensive experience of the following are required: CISCO product set, Netgate product set and Fortinet product set.
• Delivery of Network IDS/IPS capability, as well as Resilient/Load Balanced solutions and Automation
• Endpoint Protection experience
• As a Network Engineer/Architect you will be involved and help to design network solutions for managed hosting environments.
• The production and maintenance of Network Design artefacts based on high level customer requirements, working under own direction, and supporting others while ensuring work conforms to standards set by the company.
• The production and maintenance of Network Integration and Test artefacts to ensure the through life support of the Network product sets.
• Hands on technical support for all networking components. Including, but not limited to, patching cycles, product updates, Firewall Configuration, Switch and Router Configuration.
