Network Infrastructure Engineer

I am recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to be based full time on site in Kent.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will have to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

NHS experience is essential for this role.

You will be responsible for managing the IT Network Infrastructure for customers, ensuring service continuity and Network Infrastructure security. You will also be responsible for managing daily activities related to the maintenance and management of IT Network (Hardware/Software/Third Party hosted Services) and will be required to understand and cover both server and Network Infrastructure as the client moves to a unified computing methodology.

You must have proven experience of IT Networks including expertise in enterprise LAN / WAN and enterprise Wireless Networks.

Good knowledge on Security / VPN's & MPLS is essential.

You will also have experience of network switching & routing in multi-site environments and firewall configuration and management, including firewall security.

A basic understanding of server infrastructure technologies including VMWare, Active Directory, Clustering and MSSQL is preferred.
