The Network Management team are responsible for the coordination of streetworks and other works, which may have an impact on the city highway network. The administration of the Derby City Council Permit scheme, along with the assessment and administration of Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders. One of our aims being to secure the expeditious movement of traffic on the city’s highway network.
Network Management Technical Assistant is a key role within the Network Management team. Duties include providing admin support in various areas to assist in the day-to-day functions of the team.
We welcome applications from candidates who have excellent communication skills, proven IT skills as well as the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing demands. Additionally, it is important that candidates can demonstrate that they are able to work independently but also as part of a team.
Candidates will ideally have experience in a traffic, transportation, or related field, but we encourage applications from candidates with transferable skills.
Appointment within the salary band will be subject to your relevant experience and qualifications.
