About:
Foxtons Group, a leading London based estate agent is currently seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join their Infrastructure Team to support, maintain, optimise the performance, resiliency, and security of their network infrastructure. The networking environment consists of Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Brocade, Dell and SolarWinds platforms alongside networking services hosted within AWS and Azure. This is a fast paces dynamic environment and a fantastic opportunity with exposure to next generation networking technologies.
Role Brief:
Network & Security Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team with a primary focus on maintaining the network infrastructure. A hybrid role working within both network operations and project delivery.
Requirements:
• Experience working within both project delivery and BAU/Operations.
• Demonstrate the ability to proactively diagnose and troubleshoot networking faults and performance issues.
• Demonstrate good understanding of cyber security principles, priorities, and incident management.
• Maintain network software and hardware lifecycle.
• Maintain Technical Documentation.
• Proactively monitor network performance, utilisation, and health alerts.
• Network commissioning and installation experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to discuss network requirements and collaboration with other technical teams.
• Maintain good relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
• Awareness of latest industry technologies and security best practices
• Participate in bi-monthly on-call SOC rota.
Essential:
• Minimum 3 Year working experience within enterprise networking.
• Valid CCNP Enterprise or working towards.
• Proficient with Cisco LAN (Wired and Wireless) WAN, Security and Data Centre Networking.
• In-Depth knowledge & practical experience of routing and switching.
• Practical experience of working with next-generation firewall technologies i.e., Palo Alto Gateways and Cisco Firepower Services.
• Practical experience of secure wired, wireless and VPN onboarding.
• Experience of working within the ITIL framework and demonstrate its use and standards within change control, operations, and project delivery.
• Must have full UK driver’s license.
Desirable:
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security or equivalent
• Palo Alto PCSNA or PCSNE or equivalent
• F5 Local Traffic Management
• Cisco SD-Access/SD-WAN, DNA Centre
• Microsoft VMware, VCP, MCSA or equivalent.
• Cloud Networking: Azure, AWS.
