The opportunity:
The IM Networks Team are a strong and specialised team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals who work together to support core Network functionality to MBDA UK ensuring that the operational service of the business remains continual.
As the Network Service Coordinator, you will be reporting directly into the Network Service Specialist for MBDA UK and will provide centralised support to the Network Service Function liaising with other key areas of the business. We are looking for a confident and driven self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo of the business and bring fresh, new and innovative ideas with the freedom and opportunity to drive them into fruition. You will work closely with other service lines within the IM Networks Function such as Network Security, Network Operations and Network Projects in addition to collaborating closely with other colleagues within the Information Management Area.
The ideal candidate will possess ITIL Certification and have experience of working in an ITIL driven environment demonstrating clear understanding of the ITIL Framework and methodology. Awareness and understanding of Telecommunications and ICT products and services would also be beneficial to your undertaking of this role.

What we're looking for from you:

- ITIL Foundation (ideally V3 or above)
- Experience of implementing ITIL Based practises such as (Incident, Change, Problem Management, CSI)
- Awareness and understanding of Project Management Methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile and Lean.
- A positive can do attitude, capable of working in high pressure and challenging environments.
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to motivate others.
- Demonstrating the ability and understanding of ITSM tools, generating service reports and interpreting data.
Desirable
- Defence or Public Sector Experience.
- Security Clearance is required ideally to SC level.
- Ability to travel both within the UK and Europe when required.
