New Build Conveyancer

Jackson Hogg is looking to recruit a New Build Conveyancer for a fantastic Legal client based in Manchester in the Housing department.

Working Pattern – Full time 9:00 – 5:30 (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Salary – Competitive

Key Responsibilities

To provide a high level of service to House Builder clients in the provision of:

• Processing high volume plot sales from reservation to completion, including:
  • preparation of plot sale Contracts, Transfers, Leases and Shared Ownership Leases;
  • issuing sales pack to purchaser's solicitors;
  • responding to enquiries;
  • taking a pro-active role in ensuring client timescales are met or exceeded;
  • liaising with clients direct;
  • producing updates to clients as required;
  • preparing completion statements;
  • using case management systems
• Checking Help to Buy documentation and ensuring compliance with Help to Buy procedures;
• Assisting with sales of affordable housing for Registered Providers;
• File administration and management of own files; and
• Billing.

Key Attributes/Skills

• Experience of residential conveyancing transactions desirable;
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines;
• IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and case management systems;
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and as a member of the plot sales team;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Flexible approach;
• Telephone and client service skills.
