New Build Engineer

K&D is excited to collaborate with our local client in the search for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation, installation, maintenance, repair, and service of mini cranes and lifting equipment. Based mainly in our depot, we are seeking candidates with prior Electrical Engineering experience, proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and a keen eye for detail.

Competitive Salary: £40,000

Monday to Friday Work Schedule: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Responsibilities:

Conduct installations of Safety Load Indicators to cranes as an Electrical Engineer

Perform maintenance, inspections, service, and repair of mini cranes, utilizing the skills of an Electrical Engineer

Provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure, leveraging the expertise of an Electrical Engineer

Diagnose plant/equipment defects with the skills of an Electrical Engineer

Maintain records for health & safety and customer service purposes, ensuring the diligence of our Electrical Engineer

Support trainers in delivering training to customers, showcasing the proficiency of our Electrical Engineer

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Electrical Engineering experience

Level 2 or 3 Engineering Qualification

Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams as an Electrical Engineer

Background in REME as a Technician or RE as a Plant Operator Mechanic is advantageous for an Electrical Engineer

Understanding health and safety requirements is a priority for our Electrical Engineer

Strong customer service skills, inherent in our Electrical Engineer
