New Bus Finishing/ Valeting

Bus Finishers/ Valeters required for Falkirk/ Larbert based client (Positions for Full and Part Time)

Bus Finishers/ Valeters are required to work in a production environment valeting newly built buses to a showroom and accredited standard.

Full time Working hours in the main will be 5 days a week, hourly rate of £11.44, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Flexibility to work additional hours is essential or work different shifts. Saturday overtime will be required on a rota basis. Overtime rates will apply.

Part time Working hours in the main will be 5 days a week, hourly rate of £11.44, Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm positions. Additional positions for Monday to Thursday 12pm to 4pm with Friday 8am to 12pm are available. Overtime will be required. Flexibility to work additional hours is essential. Saturday overtime will be required on a rota basis. Overtime rates will apply.

As part of a sub-contracted service, a high level of discipline & appropriate conduct is required, to meet customer quality, cost and productivity requirements.

The position involves working with a friendly team to high standards. Training will be given including a full uniform and protection equipment.

Experience preferred and ability to use machinery and cleaning chemicals are essential.

Skills required will involve - Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wet pick-up, buffing, scrubbing, damp-wiping, dusting, polishing, sanitisation, etc, inclusive of specialised applications/ techniques, to remove stubborn contamination to surfaces where necessary & appropriate, utilising designated materials & equipment, with the purpose of rendering clean, commercially aesthetic, visually acceptable.
