The Research Specialist is responsible for the complete and timely update of construction projects with key information, primarily through building relationships with estimators in the UK & Ireland via extensive telephone calling.

- Bournemouth - Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Key Responsibilities
There is an element of cold calling to companies and contacts who aren't expecting a call from us, so a strong and confident phone manner is essential.
- Collect and verify data on construction developments, retail store operators, and opening dates through telephone conversations and web research.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry contacts to enhance our tender information database.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of data output, edit and check team reports, and complete compliance checks.
- Investigate customer queries and provide detailed responses, coordinating with internal teams and outsource partners.
- Stay updated on industry news, initiatives, and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve data quality.
- Assist with project updates, prospect/account queries, and provide regular industry/process updates.
- Maintain and expand relationships with industry organisations and partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner and strong investigative instincts.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in the Construction and/or Retail industries is an advantage.
- Understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and objection handling skills.
- Resilient, flexible, and willing to undertake varied responsibilities.
