EVENT AND EXHIBITION SALES
Mark Allen is a growing media organisation, with 550 individuals across 7 offices, and we are recruiting an experienced New Business Executive to join our events team and play a vital role in SubCon, the UK's biggest manufacturing supply chain show. This isn't just about selling exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities; it's about connecting audiences to their markets and sparking conversations that lead to real advancements in the manufacturing industry.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Sutton (SM2) office, with a salary up to £37,500 (DOE) plus uncapped OTE to take you to approx £60k, with the opportunity to earn significantly more as the role expands. We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- You'll proactively reach out and engage with new customers, showcasing the benefits of exhibiting at SubCon. You'll become the go-to point of contact for leading manufacturing companies and the most influential professionals in the supply chain industry, driving impactful conversations that shape the industry's future.
- You'll get to know the manufacturing supply chain landscape inside and out. This knowledge lets you craft customised packages that maximise your clients' impact at the show.
- In time, build relationships with key industry players, uncover emerging trends before anyone else, and secure exclusive partnerships that put the show at the forefront of manufacturing innovation.
- You'll work together with marketing and operations to ensure the show runs like clockwork. Your meticulous organisation keeps everything on track, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved.
Who Will Flourish In This Sales Role?
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy SALES! You get a rush from hitting targets and delivering live events. Ideally, you have an exhibition/events sales background and/or a strong desire to excel in this field. Your passion and drive will help you connect with clients, understand their needs, and showcase the benefits of our exhibitions. If you are motivated by live events and exceeding sales goals, this role is perfect for you.
