SalaryWe have a great opportunity now available for those with Commercial Insurance sales and management experience, to join a leading Chartered Insurance Broker who primarily deal with charities, not-for-profit groups, churches, community groups and other voluntary organisations with 'social goals'.
This broker is growth focussed and expanding rapidly, and now have an exciting opportunity for someone to join them as a New Business Team Leader in their South Croydon office. The team is responsible for providing a "best in class" broking service, handling New Business for commercial lines risks.
This role will give you the opportunity to lead the New Business Broking team. To provide support to potential and existing clients and ensure conversion New Business to achieve company income target.
You will be pro-active in ensuring that a high-quality service and advice is always provided to all clients and to remain client focused, positive, reliable, and honourable and be able to lead from the front.
To be considered you will need a strong working knowledge of commercial/charity lines of insurance (liability, property, financial lines, motor), Be able to assist less experienced team members with referrals, training and supervising as well as insurance sales team management experience.
This broker is also looking for someone who has the commitment to achieve the Diploma in Insurance (CII) and be a role model of their cultural values (positive, reliable and honourable)
Charity sector knowledge and charity insurance market knowledge would be a distinct advantage, however not essential as long as you have general Commercial Insurance experience.
Lastly, you will need strong organisational and time management skills and able to make sound insurance decisions.
A basic salary of GBP38-40k is on offer, plus an annual bonus: % of salary based on % of target hit.
