Newbury Station Assistant

Pay rate: £12.00ph
Contract: 1800 to 2200 from Monday to Friday for the next few months - on-going contract
We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to everyday Mon- Fri for the 4 hours per day. This role is in scope for at least another 3 months.
As the first or last point of contact on a customer's journey, you'll be assisting the customers in the station with queries and offering assistance as when required at Newbury station. Helping the public to ensure they understand where to go during their journey, help them in and around the station and providing excellent customer care!

Newbury Station staff finish at 2100 and we have two trains which come into Newbury after this time. The agency worker will be responsible for making sure these trains are empty of customers before going into the depot as well as providing general customer service on the platform throughout the rest of the shift. We will arrange training for any new agency worker and make sure there is someone available on the first shift to stay with them from 2100 to 2200.
From 2100 to 2200 the agency worker will be working alone apart from when the trains come in.There is a safe space on the platform (mess room) which the agency worker can access if needed.
