What is the job role?

Are you a Student Social Worker who is nearing the end of their qualification or recently qualified? Are you interested in a Career with Coventry Adults Services? 

We have several vacancies across our services including Learning Disability, Older People, and Mental Health.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for student Social Workers who are nearing the end of their qualification or recently qualified and have completed their placements. You will either already be registered with Social Work England or will be able to obtain your registration within 4 weeks of employment with us.

We need people with knowledge of social work practice and legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, a good understanding of personalisation, and excellent assessment and analysis skills.

You will be committed to achieving the best for the people of Coventry. You will be joining a great team of people who are passionate about the city, its people, and its exciting prospects.
