Overview:

We're actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Full Time Registered General Nurses (Band 5) to join our team as Agency Nurses across Edinburgh. As a Registered General Nurse, you'll thrive in diverse environments, working across various wards including medical, rehabilitation, and surgical units. Your primary focus will be delivering top-quality nursing care to patients, addressing both their physical needs and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, assisting with daily tasks, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication.
• Evaluate patient needs, develop individualised care plans, and perform necessary nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Educate patients and their families on health issues, medication regimens, and self-care techniques.
• Respond to emergencies swiftly and provide immediate medical attention as required.

Competitive and Clear Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday Day Shift: £31.10 per hour
• Saturday Day Shift: £40.43 per hour
• Sunday Day and Night Shift: £49.75 per hour
• Monday to Saturday Night Shift: £40.43 per hour

Requirements:

• NMC registration
• A minimum of 12 months post qualified work experience
• Strong clinical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Effective teamwork and the ability to work independently
