Job description
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operational and recruitment activities. Focusing on HR and recruitment administration and being a key contact for all related queries along with all internal employee communications. The position will report to the HR Manager.
Duties include
* Create and promote compelling recruitment adverts
* Screen applications and present hiring managers with Cv’s and assist with arranging interviews
* Ensure all contractual, reference and payroll information is gathered in time for the new employee’s start date, using our online onboarding tool
* Work with internal managers to ensure access, desk and any other kit or requirements are ready for the new joiner’s
* Facilitate the leaver notification process and ensure IT are aware of when they need to suspend a leaving employee’s account and whether their inbox should be archived with access available for their manager/or a dedicated team member
* Provide the leaving employee with information of what happens when they leave from a payroll perspective
* Facilitate completion of all new hire checklists ensures all reference and immigration checks are completed; creates an online employee folder and assist in maintaining a record of all changes for each employee throughout their employee lifecycle
* Manage entire recruitment process through leading cloud-based software
* Work with the HR Manager to prepare the monthly payroll submission
* Prepare reports to include new hires, changes in status, salary changes, bonus payments, leavers etc.
* Administration of key employee communications, such as pay review letters, change of conditions letters
Skills/Experience
* Previous experience in Hr systems & Hr administration
* Experience in supply chain & Logistics would be an advantage
* Experience in managing job boards and applications
* Creative to ensure that campaign adverts stand out from the crowd
* Strong social media and digital advertising skills essential
* Experience in a similar role, or HR function
* Strong IT skills – Previous experience with cloud-based HR system preferable
* A clear communicator, in person and writing
* Must have confidence and gravitas to promote HR best practice
* Comfortable working in a Team and building connections with the wider HR function
Working hours Monday - Friday between the hours of 08.00-17.30 (Flexibility required)
