Job description

We have an excellent opportunity to join our Employment Advisory team within our Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Talking Therapies service as an Employment Advisor. This is a key role providing support and advice to our service users to help them gain, return to or retain employment.

The role is in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland  but this will be a hybrid role with a mixture between office and home working every week.

You will work closely with mental health clinicians and develop good working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including employers, job centres, trade unions and employment agencies.

This is a great chance to use your relationship building and account management skills to gain in-depth knowledge of the local employment market and liaise with a range of schemes and initiatives to assist users with their employment situation.

Travel will be required within the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland region to deliver employment support via approved venues and at employer locations as required. This will be based on service users demand in addition to locality based partnerships including with our Talking Therapies clinicians working from Vita base(s).

It will be a rewarding role and a great opportunity to build on your experience and develop your career in a fast-growing company.
