Job Scope:
We are looking to recruit a Night Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, the Night Care Assistant will play a pivotal role in providing person centered care to residents, ensuring their optimal wellbeing, independence, self expression, and fulfillment. The assistant will support residents in various daily activities, including personal care, food and drink assistance, medication management, and recreational activities. Engaging with residents and stakeholders, the Care Assistant will nurture a sense of self by considering individual preferences and abilities.
As a Night Care Assistant, you will maintain detailed and accurate records of care provided, adhering to residents' care plans. Effective communication with residents, relatives, colleagues, and others will ensure seamless care provision and recording of health needs. As a Night Care Assistant, you will also collaborate within a team to maximize care delivery and actively participate in training to ensure a safe care environment. Observing Health and Safety rules, the Night Care Assistant will keep the environment in good repair and represent the care home professionally.
In this role, the Night Care Assistant will work under clear processes and direct supervision. Do you have?
- Desirable to have Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a similar care environment
- Sensitivity and awareness of the challenges involved in caring for and supporting vulnerable individuals
- Demonstrate expertise in person-centered care for elderly residents in a care home setting
- Have hands-on experience working with individuals with dementia and a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
