The opportunity
We are looking for someone to take an active role in leading a well-established efficient and dynamic team.
As a Staff Nurse working nights on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Wessex Hospital, you'll drive the standard in patient care. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:
Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker.
Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward.
Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs.
Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around.
Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital
Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a 46 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit.
We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
