Night Support Worker
Location: Yate
28.5 hours per week (3 night wakes)
Rate: £14.50 to £14.75 per hour
About the role
Responsibilities will include:
· Carrying out regular checks on residents/tenants as necessary with due regard to residents privacy.
· Security and fire prevention checks
· Dealing with any emergency with residents during the night and dealing with it appropriately and according to agreed procedures
· To be knowledgeable of all residents’/tenants’ needs and understand how to deal with all eventualities
· To assist when residents are getting up and maintain the morning routine with day staff
· To write a brief report regarding any issues at night
· Undertake domestic duties, such as laundry and ironing, food preparation, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and communal areas as required.
There is a requirement for flexible working including weekends.
About you
The ideal candidate will hold a diploma Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards and have knowledge of current regulations and legislation regarding care and support, however full training will be provided.
