About the position:
As a Team Leader, you will be key in helping young people with complex needs. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results. Your ambition for the young people you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.
You will also be key in supporting, guiding and mentoring the Staff Team. The well-being of all employees is paramount not only for themselves, but for the environment we create for the young people we support.
What would I be doing?
Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all time.
Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP)
Maintaining clear and accurate records including leading on care planning and producing reports as required.
Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings and ensuring that all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions.
Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
