The firm's close knit and collaborative non-contentious construction group currently comprises of one partner, one senior counsel, six associates and a knowledge lawyer.
The non-contentious construction group sits within the broader real estate group which consists of eight partners, five senior counsels, two consultants, 43 associates, seven trainee solicitors and three knowledge lawyers. There is a strong overlap between the two groups, as well as with the contentious side of the construction group, the banking and finance team and other parts of the firm.
The team act for a broad range of clients, and are best known for their work with developers, investors and funders as well as acting for banks, occupiers, arts organisations and private clients. The practice covers a broad range of projects, including residential blocks, offices, hotels, industrial, film studios, port infrastructure and private residences.
As part of the role, duties will include:

• negotiation of professional appointments, building contracts and related third party rights/collateral warranties on high projects;
• advising on construction aspects of agreements for lease and development agreements;
• due diligence on construction aspects of broader real estate transactions; and
• advising on construction aspects of real estate finance transactions.

The successful candidate will be involved in high end development projects
(both commercial and residential) and providing support on broader real estate transactions.
The ideal candidate will have:

• one to four years' post qualification experience;
• strong academic qualifications from degree upwards;
• be confident, self-motivated and committed to providing high quality technical and commercial work.
