Job description:
Ensure financial controls are maintained in the Supply Chain function of the Business. Making sure correct control and governance in place across the factory and logistics, with reporting and transactional support from a Central Team.
- To drive actions that improve performance.
- Own Daily, Weekly and Monthly results. To understand root cause issues and opportunities, to drive improvement.
- As a senior member of the Factory Management Team of both sites, drive accountability on delivery with Plant Director.
- Critical assessment of performance by line, area/process and proactively seeking solutions
- Collaborate with Central Team to ensure key financial reporting is provided in a timely manner.
- Tracking of key initiatives e.g. value engineering, major CapEx, waste/efficiency projects, restructuring plans etc
Profile description:
We are looking for a qualified Accountant or similar international qualification, with minimum 3 years post qualified experience. With minimum 2 years manufacturing experience in a larger site(s) eg +400 employees
- Minimum of 1 year in senior leadership role
- Demonstrates ability to see patterns and trends to gather insight from information.
- Experience of system process improvements
- Works effectively cross functionally and can influence without direct control.
- Strong business acumen with ability to provide sound financial advice.
