Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective internal control policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of Internal Controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control processes.
- Monitor key control indicators and report on any deviations or weaknesses.
- Stay updated on industry best practises and emerging trends in Internal Controls.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A proven track record as an accountant with experience in Internal Controls.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
